HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — The Pennsylvania Department
of Health says patients of a Lycoming County dentist might be at risk
of infection because the facility didn't properly sterilize equipment.
The
agency says it hasn't received any reports of disease or illness, but
health officials are advising patients of Montoursville dentist Dr. David Clouser to get tested for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV.
An
investigation by the health department and the Department of State
found that Clouser's office did not properly clean, disinfect or
sterilize dental tools. The state Board of Dentistry suspended Clouser
on Thursday.
