A REVOLUTIONARY method of treating hepatitis B has landed a Brunswick doctor a major national award.
Dr
Greg Ebert, of Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, has been awarded
Centenary Institute’s Lawrence Creative Prize for his innovative work to
eradicate hepatitis B by promoting the death of infected cells.
The work is in a trial phase but Dr Ebert, 38, said its impact was promising.
