Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center fosters success, businesses say

When OrthogenRx first settled in the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center in Buckingham, all it had was a tiny mail slot.

Today, the company has a full-fledged office, complete with a copier and coffee machine. But it also has something much more valuable: Food and Drug Administration approval for GenVisc 850, a medical device to treat osteoarthritis in the knee.

"The biotech center," said OrthogenRx founder and CEO Michael Daley, "has been critical toward our success."
